Willow Weaving

Working Together Through Willow Weaving
Last week, the whole school came together for a fantastic willow weaving project led by Charlie, our talented willow weaving expert and supported by parents and community volunteers. Working collaboratively across all year groups, the children helped to create an amazing collection of 12 bug sculptures from willow.
It was wonderful to see the children’s creativity, teamwork and perseverance shining throughout the day. Charlie was incredibly impressed, not only by the beautiful sculptures produced, but also by the way our older pupils supported and encouraged the younger children. The project was a brilliant opportunity for the whole school community to work together, learn new skills and enjoy a truly memorable creative experience.
A huge thank you to the Friends of Castlemorton (our PTA), for organising and funding this fantastic day.
