We are incredibly proud of one of our talented Year 3 pupils who recently reached the final of the prestigious BBC 500 Words story writing competition. Out of thousands of entries from across the country, his imaginative story was selected as one of the finalists – an amazing achievement for such a young writer.

As part of the celebrations, he was invited to the final at Windsor Castle, where he had the unforgettable experience of meeting Queen Camilla along with a host of well-known celebrities who helped celebrate the power of storytelling.

It was a truly special day and a wonderful reward for his creativity, imagination and love of writing. Everyone at Castlemorton CE Primary School is incredibly proud of his achievement and we hope it inspires many more young authors in our school to pick up a pen and share their stories with the world.
