Red Class Learning Log: 20 December 2019

As we break up for the Christmas holiday, we would like to say a huge thank you for all your hard work this term.  It has been a very busy term but it has been a blast!  Thank you also for your lovely gifts and Christmas wishes.

For homework over the holiday we are sending home a list of suggestions for ways that you can enjoy some quality family time and come back to school refreshed and ready to work just as hard in the spring term.

Please also try to read to an adult at least three times each week – it makes a huge difference to your learning in class!

Year 3 are looking at words with the suffixes –er, -ed or -ing.  Year 4 have more words that are homophones or near homophones. The test will be on Thursday.  If you ever forget or lose your spellings they are published on the website each week.

Times Tables

Year 3 please practise your x9 tables for our test on Thursday.  Year 4 – we will be continuing with a general tables test.  In the new year I will be giving you details of how to practise for the upcoming multiplication check.

With our very best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,

Miss Cafferkey & Mrs Leake
