As we are enjoying our cornet lessons so much, we think it would be great for the whole of Red Class to apply for a Blue Peter music badge.  For homework this week, please ask your parents to fill in the consent part of the form whilst you complete the other half. You need to tell Blue Peter why you like making music, ask your family about their music experiences and think about your 3 favourite songs.  You could ask your parents to take a photo of you practising the cornet (remember – no school uniform!) or we can take one in school.  I will collect all the entries and send them in to the show.

Homework should be handed in (in your Learning Log) on Wednesday morning.

In French this week we have been learning how to talk about the weather.  For homework, I would like you to use this knowledge to write sentences using the correct preposition (‘en’ for feminine countries and ‘au’ for the masculine ones). If you are feeling confident, you could write a sentence about a country which is not on the list…

Homework should be handed in (in your Learning Log) on Wednesdaymorning.

Spellings

This week, both year groups are learning homophones (words that sound the same but have different spellings and meanings). You will need to know what each spelling means as the test will be to listen to a sentence using the word and choose the correct spelling!  The test will be on Thursday.  If you ever forget or lose your spellings they are published on the website each week.

Times Tables

Year 3 please continue to practise your x3 tables for our test on Thursday.  Year 4 – we will be doing a general tables test.

Mymaths

Mymaths homework has been set for everyone.  This week had 80% of the class completing their maths – let’s see if we can make it 100% next week!
