World Book Day is Thursday 7th March
We are inviting children to come dressed as a book character. If your child has the book that the character is in then all the better!
Please try and choose characters that inspire reading and talk about the character with your child.
Mrs Clements has sent home more details about costumes for the event and is planning some creative activities for the day, including creating a character from a potato!!!
We will inform you about any school closure via text message, through Worcestershire County Council and on the website.
Please send your child to school in warm, outdoor clothing and if they come to school in Wellington Boots or heavy walking boots please send them with a change of indoor shoes.
It is lovely to see the children smart and ready for learning. We are eager to continue to spread the good news about our school and how much improvement has been made over recent terms. Please share the poster with interested parents and help promote what a unique and special place Castlemorton CE Primary School is.
We have spaces in our reception class for September and would love to show you around our wonderful school. We are extremely proud of the improvements we have made and the community we have created. We offer a loving environment where children grow, thrive and flourish.
Be bold – make an appointment and come and take a look for yourself.

With this being our second snow day of the week I wanted to share an idea I’d seen from other Headteachers so I would like to set some important homework to be getting on with while school is closed.
- Dress up in warm clothes
- Play in the snow
- Go sledging if you can
- Make a snowman, a snow sculpture and some snow angels
- Throw a snowball or two!
- Take some photographs and ask your parents to pop them on the Friends Facebook page.
- When you have had enough go inside and get warm.
- As it was world book day this week – read a book and cuddle up on the sofa
- Treasure the memories of playing in the snow as it doesn’t happen very often so make the most of it.
- Have fun- from Mrs A x
