Sourced Locally
The meals are distributed from a local provider so that the food travels a short distance.
We support local producers by using seasonal, locally grown produce.
We would like to grow some things here at school and for them to be used in the meals we provide.

Healthy and Nutritious
The meals are well balanced and have a home made feel to them.
The meals are nutritious and portion sizes are appropriate.
We offer a main meal and a dessert.
We have water available for all children.

Well Presented
The meals are well presented by qualified staff.
Meal times are social opportunities and times to display good manners.

We would like to increase the number of days school meals are offered.
We would like to keep the cost of each meal at £2.

The Black Pepper

The restaurant is currently providing school meals on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and after half term we will be extending that to 5 days.
A jacket potato option is included each day alongside meat and vegetarian options.
We are very pleased with the service so far.
