Forest School

Forest School is an important aspect of school life. Children in all classes experience forest school at some time during the school year with the younger children attending more frequently.

Below is a link to useful websites that explain the philosophy of Forest School.

Children in our Early Years go down to our fantastic Forest School area weekly. We are extremely lucky to have such a wonderful natural resource on site and the children are always eager to explore and enjoy this beautiful space. Learning linked to many areas of the curriculum takes place down in Forest School allowing time for appreciation, reflection, listening, questioning and thinking.

Green Class are currently going down to use Forest School every other week.

Red Class and Blue Class will use Forest School to support their project work- parents will be notified about these sessions.
