Garden Project
Harry and his bucket full of dinosaurs has been the inspiration for the Spring Garden Show at the Three Counties Show Ground this year. Mr Tranmer and Mrs Leake have worked hard with the children to produce our school’s display garden in the learning area. Many thanks to the parents who have also supported the project. We hope that you will be able to visit the show and take time to have a look at the school project gardens.
Dates – 6th-9th May
Text Messaging Service
The aim is to pass information as quickly as possible about such things as, cancelled clubs, school closure, school trip details… We hope to have as many mobile contacts as possible and add them to the secure data system. Please pass on your details to Mrs Riley in the school office. Thank you.
Hindu Temple Visit
Many thanks to Mrs Moss for organising the visit. The children had a wonderful experience and the people and guides at the temple were extremely welcoming and helpful.
Wriggly Nativity
Green and yellow class were delightful in their performance of the ‘Wriggly Nativity’. All the children sang beautifully and looked wonderful in their costumes. Thanks to everyone who made the show a real success.
Foday Manka
Foday Manka visited school today and awarded the Well Done Certificates in our school assembly. Foday is a member of the Gambian Government and represents the Janjanbureh area. His sister has visited Castlemorton and was the original headteacher of Boraba School when our link was first established.
